Stock Photography- my definition:
Photos that are taken, edited and submitted by a ‘contributor’ to an ‘agency’ along with a description and meta tags to allow for discoverability. The photos are made accessible to businesses, designers, and individuals seeking visual content for various purposes. Users typically purchase licenses for specific images, granting them the right to use the photos in accordance with the terms outlined by the stock agency.
